DKiM128 Aug 30, 2003 11:48 PM

Hm......I don't know how to take a poll in this forum. But I want your opinions on which you think are the prettiest dart frogs. I have my eyes on the New River Morph Tincs, how about you?

For the bigger dart group i would have to say the fine spotted azureus. They are truely beautiful in person.

For the smaller thumbnails class i would have to say most of the pumilio species, i cant pick. Just go to www.pumilio.com and look at those pictures. Now that is amazing. The funny thing is ive seen pics of pumilio and have seen them in person but nothing compares to what is on that website.

Hands down...reticulatus. I also think all of the quinquevitattus group are beautiful.

From what I understand they are hard to get in the US. They do look great though. I also like fantasticus, hope to get some of these next year.

Here is a someone selling them:
www.understoryenterprises.com/

He is in canada, and from what it looks like he has reduced exporting prices in the spring and late summer. I might have to look into that next year, I think I am done buying frogs for this year... If I can control myself. I am getting some more imitators, but thats it... maybe...
