I currently have an Ornate Nile, which was fairly expensive. I am now shopping around to get another. Specifically a Black Throat. My question is wh1y does it seem as though most monitors are more expenisve than the Nile? Is there something I am missing? Any responses are greatly appreciated.

Niles and Savs are the cheapest imported monitors available, selling for as little as $5 each.
most other monitors are significantly more expensive than Niles, and i don't know of any that are cheaper.
actual u.s. captive bred are more expensive than typical imports as well.
