Pretty cool back yard find

Not really our back yard, but about two blocks away. I've lived here (Hemet) for 4 years now and this is the first one I've seen.

here's one of our Texas Boys basking out by my house, they just put fresh coat of asphalt on the road and the surface temp was 113°F

I was herping in Arizona near Bagdad a few years back, and I saw one of these guys sleeping in the middle of the road at night. Quite a treat.
