my tank is simply to tall to maintain a horizontal gradient or so i think its about 40 in tall 60 in wide and 12 in deep....has anyone used a vertical gradient for your gtp? how is it working out for you? Any ideas how to establish a horizontal grade in such a tall tank? im all ears!.... Im getting mixed info some people say that gtp's will stay at the highest point of the cage regaurdless of the temp so horizontal is better so they can just move side to side on their perch to go from hot to cool but logicly im thinking in nature its vertical, cant the snake figure out that all it has to do to cool down is go to a lower perch? anyone care to comment on this? much abliged!
