13 baby nics in total....

Amiemac9 May 12, 2008 06:23 AM

not a bad litter size, I think.

Here's a shot of the little ones taking a bath. It looks like there are 6 hypos and 7 normals. I'll take individual pictures after they shed.

Unfortunately this little one was badly deformed so it had to be euthanized. This was the one that wouldn't/couldn't get out of the birth sack.

But I'm still really excited!!!

Lovely, is that top baby sporting a solidish tail? I would love to see an individual pic of that one!

Yes, That one has a solid tail stipe. I can't wait to take better pictures of that one after it sheds. That one is definately a keeper!

Congrats Amie! Those are some nice looking babies! I think I like the one off to the left by itself the best.

How big is the mother?

I like that one in the bottom left too. I plan on keeping that one and the big striped one.

The mom is about 52-54 inches long and weighed 4 lbs 15.5 onces back in september (just before breeding). She lost a lot of weight carrying this litter...I'd guess about 40% of her boday wieght. I plan on getting a weight on her tomorrow. The good thing is that she's back to feeding.
