Herp project, help

Hey I am going to Costa Rica for two weeks with my college in an Environmental science class. I need to make a project relating to Costa Rica. I would love to do some type of project on the herps there, snakes, lizards, I don't care. Any ideas? It needs to be sort of broad. Any ideas are appreciated.
