I have noticed on Ron Tremper's site his racks are wood and it appears he has the flexwatt taped down to the wooden shelves. Do I need to insulate the tape from the wood for this to be safe? Or is the tape stable enough that its not really a concern? Should I find some thin PVC material and cover the area around and under the tape with it? If anyone who has made a rack for their leo's wants to throw up a few pics so I can get some ideas it would be much appreciated.
