egg!!!!!

My brothers female gecko has an egg that i can see visibly in her stomach i orderd an incubator yesterday wich should come in 6 to 10 days i was wondering if i could put her in with my male for a couple of days they are both over 50 grams and how long will it take for her to lay her egg it has been visible for about a week

Unless she has been with a male the egg is not fertile and even if you put her with a male now it won't be fertile she should lay the egg soon.
Yes you can put her in with your male and if they mate you should get fertile eggs in 3-5 weeks.Make sure she is getting plenty calcium and food because it takes a lot out of her to produce eggs.If you haven't yet you need to put a small dish with calcium in her cage so she can eat it whenever she feels the need for more calcium. You will also need to put a container with moist vermiculite or perilite in her cage so she has a place to lay her eggs. I recommend you research breeding gecko's online to help you during this great experience. GL

thanks for the info i have a egg laying box with moist vermiculite allready and also a dish with calcium i have also dusted every meal with a vitamin/calcium powder mix that the breeder i baught the gecko's from gave me
