I'm told its from New Guinea (not Australia) any one have an idea of the species or is it kinda impossible to tell?

I'm assuming this is an import then. A nice Biak type I'd say. Very classic looking. Have you had it fecaled yet to check for parasites? Most imports have a lot of them.

Yup, looks like a Biak. Your "baby" also look to be about ~2 years old. I would call it a sub-adult.

how much do you think its worth? i may have to sell it because i am heading off to college and might not be able to keep it (sadly). what do you all think?
