supplement question.....

annaisagecko May 13, 2008 04:55 PM

i just got a 2 month old (give or take) leo on may 4 at the reptile show and while we where their i picked up some calcium powder stuff the brand is Nature Zone and it says its (Essential Calciums & Minerals) the question is do i still need to buy some Vitamin powder to? or does the cal & min stuff i got already have all that is needed in it? what i have dose have vit D3 btw, and since i've had it he/she has fattened up a little but has not shed yet, should i be worried about that at his age or just keep an eye on him? i do think hes gotten a bit darker which could mean hes going to shed soon, but i was thinking that baby's shed a lot,

thanks to anyone how helps!

ok thank you, its just i'm over worried because its the first baby i've had and the last adult i had it was obvious when she was going to shed and i saw her shed a lot of the time, but thank you for answering my questions good to know i don't have to bother buying something else to dust with hes so funny when he eats he gets so excited that the end of his tail twirls around like a propeller and i put some toilet paper rolls in the cage beside the food boll and he gets on top of them and rolls to the boll to catch a cricket and then back again the swallow it so he doesn't have to pounce on them haha , this is the first pic of him so hes a bit thin in it

REPTOCAL! It has D3 but 30 times less than some of the other brands. I have sworn by it for years and buy it by the 6 pack
