Colorfulcorns May 13, 2008 08:06 PM

My Blizzard is having a problem expelling all her poop some of it stays"stuck" to her. I have washed it off but she just did it again ...What would cause this???? I have just moved..could that be the cause? Cage has a hot side of 85 degrees and a cool side of 70. she has a hide and fresh water daily. Cage is cleaned after she goes....She also might be ovulating ...She mated 6 times in march but hasen't laid eggs and doesn't feel like there are any in her....

Are you absolutely SURE it's poop, and not egg "goo" of sorts coming out of the cloaca?. I've heard of a few rare cases of snakes laying unviable "goo" along with their clutch of eggs?, after allit's sounds like it's "that" time to lay from what you mentioned. It could also possibly be some actual poop that can't quite get past the eggs maybe???

hope things go well with her.

best regards, ~Doug
