My 8ft.pastel boa ate a guinea pig at the end of sept. and will not digest it. I have soaked her many times-she'll pee a little. I just now tried feeding her a med.thawed rat(the first since sept.) coated with nutribac. She ate it sideways, regurgatated it up and now won't eat it. She's a great boa and I'd like to see her better.Any suggestions?

Get her to a vet immediately, especially if you did not breed her this past season. I do not want to startle you because one of my males goes off feed every breeding season, regardless if i breed him to a girl or not, for at least 4 months and he is just fine. BUT, something could be wrong and going this long without food is very stressful. She could have an impacted intestine and need help passing that guinea pig. Is everything else stable in her environment? How much does she weigh now?

Hey, Thanks for the advice. She actually ate the med.rat with nutribac at the last possible minute. So I guess we will just see what happens with this in her system.Do you have experience with Nutribac? This is my first use.

Stop feeding, in case it's an intestinal obstruction, if it is feeding could kill her. Get her to the vet for an xray or ultrasound and a reptile veterinary opinion, right away. Nutribac can't cure what she might have, man. Pay attention.
