-My pastel female has had a rough and tough last eight months. Everything started well late last September with my "Golden" hypo male and courting/copulation went well. She showed all the right signs and I was satisfied for the moment. I moved early this year and unforseeable circumstances forced me to have to keep her in a bag for two days outside of her heated cage (actually hugged the bag while i slept for two nights to keep her warm). When I did get her in her cage, she was not acting right. She kept twitching, drinking copious amounts of water, urinating every day (alot) and staying on the coolest side of the cage. I was really worried about her and subsequently took her to my vet to get a diagnosis. Thank god we ruled our renal failure and liver damage. Vet was hoping it was a virus that would run its course and everything would be fine. He tooks X-rays to confirm all organs were intact and bone structure was ok. She started eating when she came home, 4 days later, and i was just waiting for her to expel any dead eggs she might have in her. everything was going as expected until early April, when she started refusing food again and lost muscle mass very quickly. I watched her very carefully and took detailed notes on her and last week she actually gave birth to a small clutch. 4 hypos, 1 normal and a very relieved mother. I had to scoop my jaw of the floor as i watched her give birth at 2p on 5/8/08. Needless to say, mom and babies are doing great.

Mother nature sure has fun messing with us...
