With all the Ultramel breedings, surely we should see more Ultras.

What exactly is an ultra going to look like? Not enough people know for sure, how ever if any of my breedings have some strange results pointing toward an ultra crossing rather than an ultramel crossing, I will sure post the animal.. I think I did 4 ultramel crosses this year so hopefully..

My picture are Ultas. With two Ultramel breeding you would get Ultra, Ultramel and Amel in the ratio of 1:2:1. I only had Amel and Ultra in the clutch of the Ultramel het lav breeding last year. As you can see from my pictures, now two really look much alike. The lighter one may in fact be a hypo A Ultra.

I have no idea what you are trying to represent, because I have seen proven ultramels look exactly like what you have posted.. Ultramels can very greatly from what I have seen, looking like almost like a normal, to a hypo A looking animal all the way to an amel like animal.. The differences can be very extreme.. The only way we know for sure if we have an ultramel is test breeding, and to anything else in the claims of an animal being just ultra might be hastey and premature..

Will confirm this one to be ultra or ultramel this season..

You don't see many ultramels like this ...

the variences in ultramels are absolutely outstanding.. Another example..

Yet another.. Totally different then the others.. Ultra's or ultramels, I personally think it is hard to physically tell them apart..

Who knows what to expect, again another different one.. Don't know it is ultra or ultramel because the looks are ever so different..
