RED TAIL BOA!!!

eddiemnoian May 14, 2008 04:47 PM

how long does it take for a baby to shed, i've had him a little over a month and a half almost 2 months and he eats perfectly every week and has a nice temperament, but has not shed. How often do they shed? Oh and I also spray the vitamin spray on him everyday.

HAHAHA!!! dont forget to use their shark repellent too! Your snake doesnt benefit from a vit. D3 spray nor will it have trouble shedding so long as your temps and ventilation are proper.

HAHA wow.... well i do know that it does benefit reptiles, you ain't know herpetologist yourself anyways. oh and don't forget you dropped your earring back there.

how old is he? how big is he? how big are the meals he is eating? what kind of enclosure is he in? more info = better answers!

(and really, boas don't get much out of a D3 supplement, that's more for diurnal basking lizards like beardies, iguanas, that kind of thing. it won't hurt him, but it's money you don't really need to spend. misting with water is quite sufficient.)
