OK I gave in to the breeding fever and have 6 new snakes on the way shortly.

2 are Iowa Snow Garters, I'm thinking "Blizzy" & "Drift"
"8 ball" or "Rock" would be funny, for a half a minute..

Then a Melanistic Eastern Garter - "Melanie" yep, she's a gal.

The Flame Garter has a few ideas bouncing around in my feeble little brain, any suggestions? "arson" "Burnie" "Lucifer" ??????

how about "broke" since the Flame is the most sought after Garter morph out there, and are priced accordingly

The 2 others are HET albino, so I will just name them when I get them. (the hets are for future crossing with the snows)

Any name ideas are appreciated.... I do tend to favor clever names over "normal" names.

The "flame" is the most expensive snake I have ever bought, but I have been drooling over having one for a couple years, and the breeder got an extra large litter this year. (usually sold out well in advance)

While driving down the road, I thought of Magma and Lava as possible names for the "Flame" morph.

Here is what a baby looks like, again this is not my snake.

Trust me, when these neonates arrive, I will proudly plaster pictures all over the place.

I personally like Magma the most of all the ones mentioned. I also thought of "Cinder" or "Tephra" (the little bits of glass and rock that make up most of volcanic ash). You could also name your flame after a famous volcano.

I vote for Tephra.
