I'm getting a juvie mali in a week or two. I would very much like a male, is there anything I should look for as far as color goes? More yellow or more black? They are around 7 months or so.

If they're that young, color won't help you, sorry to say. They can be tough to tell apart when they're significantly older than that.

Read my post about 2 topics down and you can see how that can turn out! The one I thought was female might be a male, the one I thought was male, well you get the idea. Still can't tell and there are signs in both of being either sex.
