Questions and other such stuff....

First off, I have gotten some of my mealies to turn to beetles. How long do I leave them in their own drawer to lay eggs before moving them to a new drawer??

Secondly, how long will the beetles live???

After that, I am very happy to say that Sigma (my new Golden Hypo male from the show yesterday) and Raleigh (my albino female) both ate some mealworms last night and are adjusting well.

the beetles will live for a short time....maybe about a week but during that period the females will lay many eggs. i would just keep them in one drawer and then clean out the bodies once they are dead. however, i have found that unless the container is kept over 80 degrees constantly, the babies develop extremely slowly. Congrats on the new leos too!!!
