Raising Boas or?

killerchondros May 16, 2008 12:09 AM

I am wondering what is the best move to make at this point in my early hobby/business breeding program. The boa market seems saturated and the Indigo seems extremely specific.

I have 1.4 peruvian boas....some yearlings and some sub adults. to reduce the probable chance raising a red flag with the IRS...I need to make some quick sales next year to keep uncle sam happy that my write offs for 2007 were actually for a buisness and not a hobby. I have a beautiful male indigo that would do well next year with a good female.

I need to buy something that is ready to go and produce in time to establish babies for sale.

I dont have the funds for both to make this happen but i do have enough for an breeding adult.

Based on upcoming market speculations....which would you invest in?

Thanks,

I agree. You really have to go with what you like.
With all the time you put into them and how long you keep them, figure out what you'd love to have babies or not and keep them.
Good luck!

Both responses make sense. My problem is that I can't pick a fav and my pocket book is paying dearly. I guess I'll just have to go out an make a million to support this addiction.
