Peach and Chester are just awesome, would that make a "good pairing" ?

From your "BCI breeders perspective" for a desirable result ?

I know nothing of what one would need/want to accomplish to make desirable babies that target the "boa buying communities" purses.

I still think they would make stellar babies, then line bred to one another LOL.

or would they hehe ?

I think you'd get a bunch of Peach looking salmon snakes that are het for sunglow. Not sure how the super works, but I'd buy that if I was looking for a BCI to breed.

Do super salmons produce 100% salmons or salmons and supers?

Fine looking BCI for sure.

>>Do super salmons produce 100% salmons or salmons and supers?

I believe Super x Super would produce all Supers, since Super means homozygous for the mutant allele.

rainbowsrus May 16, 2008 06:56 PM

It's mostly the pic, she was an early 07, almost a full year old and with the wide angle lens and such short focal distance makes her look bigger than she is.

What are you feeding and how often? The early 07's I have are eating full size mice once a week. A couple may go to weaned rats soon. My 06's are eating small rats once week. They both seem ready for medium rats - but I have none of those for another few days.

If you do decide to feed more often or larger items - go slow. Do NOT change the feeding all at once. Develop a plan to change it over two to three months. Snakes being cold blooded digest food slowly - and feeding more often or larger prey can really affect their digestive system.

I'd honestly rather grown them slow like I am. My '07s are eating rodentpro rat pinks or small pups and my '06s are eating their pups and smalled weaned rats. I only say rodentpro because I got a pup and weaned rat from the pet store a couple days ago and their weaned rats were the size of my pups... rodentpro has some huge rats!! Anyway, I am moving my '06s up to larger weaned rats, but like you said, very slowly. Thanks!
