yeah that is true, they seem so similiar but they require different needs when it comes to housing. A Frilled would need misting 1-2 times a day, and a shallow bath to soak in when it feels like it. A Beardie wouldn't, they require more of a dry/hot combination, where as Frilleds would have a more Jungly place to live in. Therefore they require a lot of humidity (about 70%), and a temp (at the hot end) at about 95F for smaller Frilleds.
Hope that helps,
Dan
yea man thanks! is dog food a good choice for food, and i mean along with crickets and superworms, and pinks. what is a good proteinfat percentage for frilleys? i know monitors are like 16 percent protein and 6 percent fat.
well any info on them will be nice, has anyone in here bred them before..if so i would like to chat.
kody
hmmm well i am not too sure on feeding it dog food, however an alternative to feeding your Frilled live food are pellets, rep-cal pellets are good, although not every Frilled will eat them. Do not feed too many wax/super worms often, they contain very little nutritional value and contains high amount of fat, like us eating chocolate or burgers!
I am not exactly sure on the ratio of protein to fat, but only make fattening foods a treat, it can make your Frilled(s) picky, but if refusing to eat they are a good choice to get them eating again.
hope that helps,
Dan
