NILE MONITOR???

Is it true that you can rise niles without Uva-Uvb light
as long as they stay hot??

uv lighting is an argument with all reptile keepers some do some dont...

you can raise and breed any monitor species without full spectrum bulbs. given proper husbandry, which includes proper temps, they are not necessary. with poor husbandry, they are a crutch, and a moot point.

check out our site for caresheets and our monitor FAQ. if you are getting/have a monitor, get a copy of the Bennett Savannah book, it has excellent monitor husbandry info applicable to all monitor species.
