It was HOT today!!

No really, ;p I wasn't alluding to anything... it was really sunny and da#n toasty outside! So I took some pictures... I also figured, I never get to join in with the 'let's see everyone's faces,' threads, so I had to have someone take one of me too!
This is a normal boa (and python), nothing too special... the boa is my very first boa, Ophelia. I bought her 4 years ago at a Petco. She is unusually colorful for a normal and I'm very proud of her and biased. Researching her care is how I ended up with 62 various boa and python morphs, in a small facility behind my home! I am now an addict and this is the boa started it all!

A little blurry, but she was on the move...

This one would have been a great shot, but she decided to expose her 'double chin' LOL!

My boyfriends Dumerils, she has grown in my care... in my collection now that she gets more heat and regular meals! LOL! Sorry honey!

Last, but not least... my blood python, Akaia. Her temperament that was questionable when I got her, is so much better. She is like a giant limp noodle in my arms now... I am careful not to overfeed her (since they already look like blimps) but when she flattens out people are curious if she's pregnant. I try to explain that bloods just look like that... my Mother thinks they resemble giant slugs! I think she is gorgeous!
Back yard, overgrown grass and unusual lighting...

In our deadish, but manageable front yard, full on sunlight...

Those are some great pictures! I like the 'double chin' one, she looks like a sweetheart. Those first snakes that get you into the hobby always hold a special place.

I like the story and pics of your blood, I've wanted one for a while but can't convince myself to make the leap and do it. Yours is beautiful! They all look very well-cared for.
