Hognose photoshoot

ChristianC May 17, 2008 04:51 AM

I just had the opportunity to shoot a friends hognose collection. It was my first time working with them and i must say they are awesome snakes! I keep and breed boa constrictors so the keeled scales was really different. The feel reminded me of a rattle snake. I may have to get a couple. Here are a few of the photos i took.

I think i have them identified correctly.

Female 04' Blonde Hognose

Male 06'

Female 03'

Female 07' Red Phase Het Hypo

Female 07' Het Albino BHB line

Thanks for looking.

Good looking shots. How did you set up the black background.

I use Black Velvet (the cloth not the alcohol ) It worked great for a background. absorbs all the light with no shine. Looks like your snakes are floating in space with no photoshop work.
