OK so I have a big girl she's tipping the scales right now at about 4200 grams - she has been glowing for some time - and this morning she has a noticeable lump in her lower region - it's not a huge football obvious ovulation type lump that I see in my smaller girls - and my first thought was it's just a building lump. However it then occurred to me that perhaps ovulation just isn't as noticeable in the big girls as it is in the normal size girls.

So for those of you that breed the big girls - is the ovulation as noticeable? Does their girth hide the bulge or do monster girls have monster ovulations?

Ironically, I notice the lump in my big (2000 ) gram girls more often than in my smaller ones. It still looks the they swallowed a football. I'd say the lump is proportional.

I would hope to see a large pre-ovulation swell.

My 5200 gram female is going through her pre-ovulation swell also, but she is not blowing up yet like I would expect. I hope to see her very large in the near future. When I don't see the foot ball effect is when I can expect some slugs.

is about 5000 grams. Last year I got 2 good eggs and 4 slugs.
This year, she had the same size ovulation swell, so I was expecting the same small clutch.
I was surprised when she laid 9 good eggs and only 1 slug.
So, with this particular female, the size of her swelling was not an indicator of clutch size.

This girl was around 4000...didn't think this was very noticeable...but it was OV.
