Tracking down the origin...

Brad Alexander May 17, 2008 08:42 PM

I purchased this melanistic female thayeri from Justin Mitcham, I think, in 2004. I got her and a male from him. She looked great and was in great health, but the male not so much. he was kind of skinny and not doing well and has since passed on. He told me about the weak male ahead of time, so I was fine with that. I still have the female and she is doing great. However, I would like to track down the lineage of her if possible.

Do any of you fine mexicana forum participants know anything about the background of this snake?

Any information would be sincerely appreciated.

Brad Alexander

Brad,

Here is Justin's website:

http://extremehogs.com/

Why not go right to the source? His contact info is on the site too.

Thanks for the info and I'll try that again. The last time I tried to contact him I didn't hear back. Maybe my email was lost in the shuffle.

That being said, there are many knowledgable people here that may have received offspring from that melanistic female while Justin had her. Therefore, there could be people reading this forum with insight.

Thanks again,

Brad
