What do you guys use as tops for your enclosures?? Screen? Half screen, half plywood? Or half screen and plastic??? any input would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

If your using an aquarium screen... anything that gives good ventelation remember these are a desert reptile...

All of the above can be used... Screen does provide good ventilation but also allows heat to escape fast. Same with no screen at all, just open top.
Partial screens or solid tops are great, as they keep the heat in, though other sources of ventilation are needed..side and back vents work well. Or screen front doors.
I personally find front opening cages work best with bearded dragons, as it allows you to approach them from their level, instead of from above..where in the wild, the bulk of their natural predators approach them. Also, a solid ceiling allows for lights to be mounted inside, thus not having screen between the UVB bulb and the dragon. Just ensure basking bulbs are not close enough to the basking area for dragons to reach.
