I incubate mine the same as my corns approximately 82 degrees F.
It fluctuates slightly but at 82 I don't really worry about it getting too high or too low.

Try 28 C or 82 F. That will work if the rest of your setup is correct. It is the same temperature that is user for just about all Noth American rat snakes.
I just heard from Tim Gebhard of Vivid and he concurs with both of you at 82F.
