What else is there to do on a 90* weather day here in Nrthn Calif, we’ve had up and down weather and then all of a sudden it hits up with these temps for a week non stop. Sooooooo the kids get to come out and play:

I did the same thing the other day! Nice weather is finally here, kind of a shock to some of us in Oregon... to go from winter into summer weather, skipping spring! Earlier last week they said possible snow showers and rain at night and by the end of the week it was in the 90's and we are all panting! LOL!

Back on track though, nice pictures and idea for the manzanita snake tree... my snakes won't hold still for nothin and I'll eventually have to craft something similar to keep them entertained while I snap my own outdoor photos... beautiful kids!

By the way, was it your Flicka that was potentially gravid this season? How did that go?

yes she was we have scanned her numerous times, her folicles are 4-5cm but she hasn't ovulated worth nothing, she is on the thin side infact, a few years ago i dropped her off at LindaH house and she ovulated nice then but weren't ready to breed either, but her due date is June 7th or the 17th and she shed again just a week ago so i have a possible new date in Aug as well. Im not holding my breathe, she will probably slug out or reabsorb them, being a first timer for the male as well, it's bound to happen. Will let you know what comes of the June date, ill be home on vacation for two weeks.

That's too bad! I know you were looking forward to it... I'm sure you may have seen my post on how my own Hog pairing went... not much better, one slug and nothing else. Better luck to us next year and perhaps, for you, just a bit later this year still... you never know what they are gunna do; they like to play with our minds!
