Egg cutting question

PhillyBoyInTN May 18, 2008 12:47 PM

What is the difference in the risk involved with cutting eggs at day 50 and 55? (snake development, vein dependency, etc.)

as this topic is visited numrous times...I will only give you my opinion!

I cut my eggs at day 53 ish or so! i am very careful. I havent lost a baby to this yet knock on wood! i have seen no ill effects...But my opinion is DONT DO IT just wait it out unless you are sure handed and very steady!

I hope this helps and good luck!

of the Barkers-if they haven't pipped by day 55, I go ahead and cut. Never lost a baby this way. I would hesitate to cut as early as day 50, though I know many do.
