Hypo Panamanians pairing result...

Hopefully she has this slug thing out of her system now so she can have actual babies next season woohoo. The total on my first ever BCI litter is 15 slugs and 1 baby on day 110 POS. No reverse stripe like the parents and much lighter than they were as babies. All in all I am a bit disappointed obviously...but baby steps to a real litter someday!

Bummer on the terrible odds, but congrats on the extremely nice neo. Best of luck in the future.

Matt, thats a nice snake. At least you got a nice live one..I'm having a great year on breeding EXCEPT for boas. Its my worst year ever. I've had a litter of preemie dead snow boas, hypos, albino, sunglows, etc. So far not one good litter...TC

Sucks, but congrats on the one baby! Looks like a Super!

On the striping, it does seem genetic to a degree. The sire for our second litter had a small tail stripe and a few of the babies have varied striping, I know one is further up, and another has striping on the tail.

Better luck next time!

Yeah...have another litter due anyday now (she is at 108 POS) so maybe I will get something out of that one too.

Ditto that. (I want onr also)

I am sorry you had all the slugs on this last one.

ShawnGilbert May 18, 2008 09:30 PM

Sorry you didn't have more live from the first litter, but you may well have the first "Super".
Looks like the 110 days is about right, then. Looking forward to the next litter. At least they are going in the right direction... From zero, to one, now the next litter will be the bonanza!
