I woke up this morning to my first clutch of ball eggs. However it wasn't quite what I expected. Last year she laid 7 perfect eggs and no slugs. This morning I found 3 whole eggs and 2 that were mashed and broken with the contents smeared all over her bin. 1 of the 3 is only half the size of the other 2 but it has veins. I'm hoping that my other 3 females i'm waiting on are better. By the way I bred the mama of this clutch to my lightest male. Just trying to see if there are any interesting genes hidden somewhere.
