I don't really know much about breeding or babies-- but i'm trying.

I see the scale for the living twin says 28 grams... is that a 'normal' size for a hatchling?

they are beautiful btw-- I love axanthics-- would love to make an axanthic bee or I saw a pic of an axanthic pin here the other day-- amazing animals!!

thanks

Actually Beth thats small as far as hatchlings go. I hatched some mojave girls this season that weigh a little over 80 grams and havent birth shed yet. I think on average they are between 60-70 grams, I have seen a twin that weighed in at a whopping 16 grams at birth.

Ahh-- I see--
Thank you for the info!

I don't see many pics of hatchlings on the scale-- usually just egg pics--- and I hate posting a dozen questions--
I appriciate the response--

Hope your babies do well--- I am such a die hard fan of axanthics--- amazing creatures!!
