white tipped tongue?

AbsoluteApril May 20, 2008 04:00 PM

I was snapping some pics and noticed in this one

that she appears to have a white-tipped tongue.
Blown up shot:

What is up with that? Is it just some by-product of the hypo gene (removing black from her tongue)?

I thought this was neat... I'll have to look at it closer when I get back home.

I had one baby this year that had that too. Her tongue is also pink, which I have never seen on a hypo.

ago I produced a litter of hypo to hypo in which 5-6 had pink tongues and many had partially pink tongues. Go figure...I haven't had any like that lately even though the same female produced last year....TC
