mercury vapor bulbs

i bought a cage from custome cages and i want to know u'll opionon on the bulbs to use. i was thinking usein the mercury vapor bulb spot or the normal mercury vapor bulb.

Mercury Vapor bulbs are made to push UVB farther distances and should be more than 24" away from the basking spot. The cages are too short and a mercury vapor bulb inside would be a very bad idea. You should use a straight flourescent tube of the longest length that will fit inside of the cage. The flourescent will spread UVB throughout the cage and also add brightness on the cool end where the basking bulb will be far from. If you have a 24" tall cage you should use a UVB 10.0
