Escaped argus pics!!!

Scott_Austin May 20, 2008 09:46 PM

What does your escaped Argus do??? Well mine casually cruises over to the box that previously contained rats. Checks it out and finally just hops right in for a closer look. I didn't even know he escaped and I had been in the room feeding other snakes. I went back to my rat barn and my girlfriend found him and started snapping pics. My fav is the one with my albino retic in the background. He escaped out one of his vent holes that apparently wasn't sealed good enough.

escaped monitors, that wont fuel the ultra libs that want to ban all reptiles.it is funny that they go right to the rat smell, but put some locks on your cages.

The cages all have locks on them. It was the vent hole he got out of.

V.escapartistis, mine is a male red ackie. That bugger escaped several times this year, and a few times before. He gets out and teams up with our big cat (who helps hide him, and distract us when hes in the open). The last time he was out for a day, the times before that were 3 weeks, 2 weeks, and on down to a few days at a time. I catch him and he looks completely normal as if he never left the cage.
That male ackie I have is as bad as a male rat I had as a breeder once for years.
