tokaysrnice May 20, 2008 10:55 PM

Thats the Pseustes.

Royreptile May 20, 2008 11:00 PM

Right on, man.
Looks as though they're settling in nicely, and I'm sure they enjoy the room! I'm glad they're in capable hands.
You were right, the Spilotes is way bigger than she was the last time I saw her. Looking nice though; seems to be more yellow than I remember.
As for the cribos, they're looking nice as well. That male needs to catch up to his girl.

nice pics nate! are your spilotes from morti & michelle? here's an 04 female from them. she's nearly 8' now & more of a pale yellow compared to my unrelated male whose a stark lemon yellow by comparison......

tokaysrnice May 21, 2008 09:01 AM

Yeah she's from Primareptilia, her yellow is more of a creamy color as well but she shure has alot of it. 8'? nice. I really need to get her a boyfriend but Don has my # so fingures crossed.

That's funny, I actually post a fair amount of pics of my Indigo on the *rainbow boa* forum, didn't seem like there was much interest here. Here are some recent shots. I got this guy from Steve Fuller, and I couldn't be happier.

Great looking Pseustes, I like they way they puff up like that.

Thanks,
Ed

Thinks he's a dog, likes his head scratched...

Good looking little bugger!

RiseAbove May 21, 2008 02:32 PM

Awesome snakes Nate. I really am jealous of your collection, lol.
Here is your Spilotes' little brother - sorry don't have any recent photos for size reference.

And since you seem to love the big fast colubrids, you need to try a blue beauty. This one just turned a year old at the end of April and is already 6 feet.

John

tokaysrnice May 21, 2008 02:50 PM

Dang John that beauty is getting big! The Spilotes looks like its starting to catch up as well. I'd love to get into some Asian rats, if I were to get some I'd have to get ridleyi or Ptyas, I think for the time being I have enough poop factories.

ADDICTED23 May 21, 2008 05:59 PM

i had a blue beauty, but she died of unknown causes after 1 1/2 years. she made it to 6 ft easy and liked to bite a lot... had an issue with all non moving objects specifically the kleenex box.
