This is how much pastels vary...

Some people say there are good pastels and bad pastels. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. These pastels are both from the same line, but to show how well they have been selectively bred through the years I thought this was a good photo. The darker individual is a '98 female that I purchased 2 years ago and the other is an '05 female purchased as a baby. I actually like the darker one better and plus she gave me these 2 beautiful pewters that have just recently hatched. But don't worry the other is full of 100% het G-stripe baby eggs!

i've got one--- Excuse the gnome--- totally different subject but a decent pic of my little Blonde boy

He's going into shed--- will be blue in a few days--- I'll get some new pics when he's nice and clean after shed.

And your 98' looks almost spider-like--- I've never seen a pastel with white sides like that... interesting...
