I bought a snake in Petco and it died like a few months later so I was wondering where the best place is. I heard that you should buy them from breeders but I can't find any here. Please help.

There are expos across the nation that breeders attend to sell the snakes they've bred. Chances are pretty good that there is one close to you. You could also check the classifieds on the site to see if you see a breeder close to you. Of course, it does depend on what snake you're interested in.

Look for a petstore that keeps good records on their snakes. Fro instance feeding schedule, date of birth, when the last shed was and so forth. You still have a risk of your new pet not taking to the move well but you at least know about the care of the snake and can make a better judgement on your purchase
thanks...
