Heating question

WildBill Aug 31, 2003 02:30 PM

I currently have most of my herps in a spare bedroom. I'm planning on moving my collection to the basement in the near future. Its an unfinished basement, but is heated and air-conditioned with the rest of the house. I'd like to be able to keep the basement a little warmer than the rest of the house, and was wondering the best way to do that. If anyone has ideas or suggestions, I'd appriciate it. Thanks.

Try regulating it with the vents. Open the basement wide open, and close the house vents down. You should be able to get the right balance with a little experimentation.
