Polar hypotrans

pdragon1 May 21, 2008 02:32 PM

Just hatched these little guys the other day. The father is a white hypotrans and mother a white double het. They should end up being very light as adults. The father is a half-white hypotrans which are few and far between. Most all the babies hatch very trans with maybe only one looking like the father. The milky white hypotrans that I posted a while back bred to a very white leu het trans. It will be interesting to see if more than one baby hatches looking like the father. Interesting stuff...thanks, Josh

Sorry, my writing is really bad...the second sentence should say half-white hypotrans, not white hypotrans. Josh

What is it that you do to make these awesome bearded dragons? Nobody makes them like you! Even the people who buy dragons from you can't produce beardies like yours.

you hatch the best colored dragons, hands down! have you ever seen a jet-black or melanistic beardie? any plans to breed ones like that? Cheers

Thanks you guys! Your complements are greatly appreciated. I am very fortunate to work with other breeders to move the trans morph in a forwards direction. There is many, many new crosses to come. I'll be posting more pics over the next few months. Josh

Nice Dragon!! Not to change the subject but do you remember those F2s we traded. I remember you saying that they produced some really white dragons. Well funny enough last season when I bred the F2 het trans I got a hand full of these powdery white trans with blue undertones. Translucents are crazy!! Nice morph name.

Thanks,

Randy
