i have bread meal worms by the milions!!!!(another way of saving money BDlvr) my problem now is seperating them from the bedding. i am using a basic oats and grains mixed with cricket food. i have all of the worms in a 20 long with about 3-4 inches of bedding with them. it is very hard to dig and pick them out. any secrets to seperating them to clean the bedding and cut time out of feeding.

I keep my meal worm colony in wheat bran, tropical fish food & ground flax. With this mixture, it's easy to use a small wire mesh colander to separate the mealies from the substrate. Not sure that will work as well w/ your oat mixture, but you can try it.
