NEW LIGHT.

alternarush May 22, 2008 08:21 AM

On the advice of my friend Steve Boyd, I purchased a "Bright Bar" shop light. It arrived last night just in time to come to Texas with me on Friday.

Here's the light:

I also got the bright bar mini.

It has a series of L.E.D. lights up and down the shaft with a reflector and produces a surprisingly directional beam. The 12 volt battery is built into the wand, so no battery pack. It comes with a charger and lasts 7 hours on a charge.

I couldn't resist taking it out and testing it last night. Here's the beam on the highest peak of my house:

Steve got his at Sam's club, but I had to order mine on line.
