ok well i have a uro and i would like to know how big you think he will get. He is a morrocan uromastyx. Also what are the main things he eats. i mean like whats the best kind of fruit. He is four inches. Also last, is when should i and how many crickets should i feed him. Thanx for reading.

first of all, your new uros diet should consist of more vegies than fruits. There is a good list of foods for uros on a web site called deer fern farms, a site with tons of info on uros. And as for crickets, you don't have to feed crickets to him/her at all. If you want to give them as a treat, then only do this once a week, every other week, or something like that. THe link to the web site is below., btw, it is not good to feed too many crickets.

Congrats on your new Uro! Deerfernfarms.com is definitely the number one place for information - there's even a separate page specifically about Moroccans. Two other good sites to go for general info are http://jason.creager.com/uros.html and http://Kingsnake.com/uromastyx/
