'Double-Dose' Pastel results

boabackatya May 22, 2008 02:37 PM

Got the post she pics taken last night. Am very happy with the results from combining the two seperate pastel lines together ... clean and colorful just like pastels should be Underlying wash/tones are saturated with pinks/reds/fuschia coloring. Definately nice when your expectations are exceeded While it has nothing to do with the pairing on this litter, they are also 50% het Anrey.

Hope you enjoy the pics and congrats to all those who have had babies this year (or yet to have them)... have seen some real knock-outs so far in 2008!!!

Nice snakes and pics. What kind of camera do you use?

Thanks Mike

Hey Mike ... for the close-ups without flash I am using an old Kodak Easy Share 2700. For a cheap camera (only a 4 mega pixel unit bought 2 years ago or more) it focuses very well and good color.

For use with a flash and not close-up stuff/babies is use a higher-end camera, which for some reason sucks for tight focused shots.

So, the camera is nothing special as a whole, just using good lighting and a setting on it for close-up shots (and no flash).

Hope this helps ... lighting is one of the keys to good shots I think with any camera. I a platform for shots that has 3 2 florescent and 2 hologen lights hitting the area. This helps a lot for non-flash photos of animals.
