Brand new Colombian boas..

RioBravoReptiles May 23, 2008 07:25 AM

.. this is a long running project here. I am a big fan of nice common boas.
.

.
.... the obligatory wet-look photo..
.

.
The female is six years old this summer. This is her 2nd litter. She is right at two meters in length and weighed 7.2KG at ovulation. I don't know how many there are.. if things are normal (as in this case) I won't disturb mom or the kids until they are ready and crawling around the cage.
.
Here's her giving me the proud-parent look, other boa-moms can be a lot more protective.
.

.
Thanks for looking.

I never thought that I would see the day, when a litter of pure Colombians, would be rare. They look absolutely great, buddy.......JJ
