I would put that little guy in a deli cup and leave it alone for 12 to 24 hours. At that point, tie of any off the umbilical about an inch from the body with dental floss andcut the remaining umbilical below that. This will prevent any blod loss. Leave the snake in the deli cup aand see howit goes.

Congratulations on the litter and kep us posted.

I have seen them come through before, keep him warm, dark, and on moist paper towels with little disturbance. He may suurprise you. How was the rest of the litter? Best wishes.

I agree with Warren. I would tie off the umbilical chord about an inch from the snakes belly, but I would do it now. One of my concernes is that the snake's condition could become worse if the snake is allowed to crawl around with it's yoke sac dangling from its body. Then place the baby in a moist deli cup so it can't move around very much. These guys are pretty hardy and they can survive sometimes the worst of conditions.

In a week or so you should begin to see the belly begin to close up.

Good luck.
