Late season borneo eggs

Rich_Crowley May 23, 2008 09:12 PM

Funny how others have eggs hatching and some of mine are just getting on the ground. This clutch has been a big and stressful project for me. 23 eggs of which 2 were immediately identified as infertile. The rest look great for now. I managed to catch a few shots of mom in the process of laying eggs with this one being the best close up. Very nice to come back to after a grueling week of work and travel. The female here is called "Springer" and has a nice cherry colored head and a wonderful disposition. The sire was "The Rock" and certainly lives up to his name. Springer is nine years old this year next month.

Nope, Patience was in with us. My gravid girls never see the public in that year. Too much stress. You haven't seen Springer before since she was too busy
