A small second litter from Panamanians..

Ghireptiles May 24, 2008 08:48 AM

There were three live and 12 slugs from my second reverse striped hypo female (I'll get it figured out someday). Here are two of the babies and I will take a pic of the third baby in a couple of days as it has a very small sac still attached.

Hi Matt,
Congratulations on the second litter.
REgarding the smal size and high slug ratios, it is possible that you over bred the male. You put him with a number of females, correct? Maybe next year you might want to increase the number of males you use, or reduce the number of females.
The babies look great.

I bred two males to the four girls but maybe had them a bit too cool after the females ovulated. I'll have to go by the book next season instead of just letting nature takes it's course like with the atb's

Sorry for the slugs. What you have shown looks pretty good though.

Mostly because I WANTED ONE, lol. But seriously, as long as all the parents are healthy and you have at least something for your efforts this year, just keep plugging away and your reward will be that much sweeter.
BTW, did the 110 day POS hold for this female as well?
