Better late than never!

One last burm ovulated today. This would be my 7th burm to go this year. Hopefully she does better than she did last season. I'm not sure what she will have. She was with a green het granite male first, then an albino lab male, and last an albino het green/labyrinth male. I saw the most action with the last male and not a whole lot before that. If I had my pick I would hope for the green male to make possible quad hets!

Ya reckon she was just holdin' out to get all the luvin' she could get? Haha!

Talk about a late bloomer! Yeah, you'll be climbin' the walls waitin' on those eggs to hatch, wonderin' just what the heck they're gonna be. The way they store sperm, it's anyone's guess as to who the daddy is. I've got human friends & relatives that way. We won't go there, though.

Congratulations, again, Ben!

LOL.....thanks Mike. I really appreciate the kind words. Did you breed your pair again this season? Let me know if you have any labs.

HappyHillbilly May 27, 2008 09:18 PM

Yeah, I bred mine again this year. Due to start hatching the June 9th. I got about 21 eggs that are looking great.

According to the Genetics Wizard I'll have:
4 - Labyrinth (3 of which will be het Albino)
1 – Albino Labyrinth
4 – Albino (3 of which will be het Labyrinth)
5 – Normal, het Labyrinth/Albino
2.5 – Normal, het Labyrinth
2.5 – Normal, het Albino
1 – Normal (non-het)
20 in Total (21 - 1 will be any man’s guess)

I'll keep ya posted.

Later!
